The specific aroma components of Ampelopsis grossedentata were qual. and semi-quant. analyzed by HS-SPME/GC-MS based on optimization of sample dosage, extraction temperature, extraction time, balanced time and desorption time to provide theor. basis for further development of Ampelopsis grossedentata. The results showed that the optimum HS-SPME conditions were 0.5 g sample dosage, 50°C, 50 min extraction time, 10 min balanced time, 2.5 min absorption time. The specific aroma components were nonanal, decanal, cis-geranylacetone, 6,10,14-trimethyl-2-pentadecanone, di-Et phthalate, phthalic acid, diisobutyl ester, 2,6-bis(1,1-dimethylethyl)-4-methyl-phenol, 2,4-bis(1,1-dimethylethyl)-phenol, β-ionone, 1,1,3-trimethyl-3-phenyl-indane and (R)-5,6,7,7a-tetrahydro-4,4,7a-trimethyl-2(4H)-benzofuranone. The HS-SPME/GC-MS with less sample dosage, reliability, simplicity and rapidity can be used in qual. and semi-quant. anal. of Ampelopsis grossedentata specific aroma components. The objective of this paper is to establish the method for rapid determination of 15 kinds of aromatic nitro compounds and phthalate esters in the workplace air. Various target mixtures in air collected by silicone tube and DB-35ms separation column and gas chromatog.-mass spectrometry are used in the determination and anal. of compounds after desorption by methanol. The results showed that all composition are completely separated, at the same time, qual. determination is performed. Fifteen kinds of mixture shows good linear relationship in certain concentration range, correlation coefficient (r) ≥ 0.990 0. The min. detection limit is far lower than the dosage level of occupational chem. poisoning position, desorption efficiency of 15 kinds of mixture is 92-97%. Changes of Flavor Compounds of Hydrolyzed Chicken Bone Extracts during Maillard Reaction was written by Sun, Hong-Mei;Wang, Jin-Zhi;Zhang, Chun-Hui;Li, Xia;Xu, Xiong;Dong, Xian-Bing;Hu, Li;Li, Chun-Hong. Flavor quality, including non-volatile and volatile compounds, of hydrolyzed chicken bone extracts (HCBE) during Maillard reaction (MR) was evaluated with HPLC, tasting sensory system, Electronic-Nose (E-nose), and GC-MS. Results showed that flavor amino acids (AA) accounted for 72% to 74% of total free AA in HCBE. Taste of umami increased first and then decreased during MR, while equivalent umami concentration remained at a stable level. Results of taste sensing system and bitter AA showed that MR could reduce the bitter taste of HCBE significantly. E-Nose test showed there are great changes of volatile flavor during MR. And total of 59 volatile compounds were identified in HCBE during MR, which should responsible for the increase of flavor in HCBE. Our results indicated that MR could be used as an effective way to change the flavor compounds in HCBE, and therefore provide a strategy for preparation of meaty flavor enhancer from bone residue as a byproduct of meat industry. 2-Ethylhexyl benzoate (cas: 5444-75-7) belongs to esters. Carboxylic acid esters of low molecular weight are colourless, volatile liquids with pleasant odours, slightly soluble in water. Esters contain a carbonyl center, which gives rise to 120° C–C–O and O–C–O angles. Unlike amides, esters are structurally flexible functional groups because rotation about the C–O–C bonds has a low barrier. Their flexibility and low polarity is manifested in their physical properties; they tend to be less rigid (lower melting point) and more volatile (lower boiling point) than the corresponding amides. Enzymatic synthesis of biodiesel from Jatropha tanjorensis Ellis and Saroja and its potential as biodiesel feedstock was written by Arun, K. P.;Ravichandran, N.;Devi, M. 21St century has almost become “”reen century” with an increased demand for plant products (bioenergy-oil). Hence, to develop a natural biodiesel feedstock, common species of Jatropha in and around Thanjavur is selected based on its enriched monoalkyl ester content which could be a good source for generating biofuels. Tanjorensis seed oil were extracted and analyzed for its physico-chem. properties such as % free fatty acid, acid value iodine, peroxide, saponification values. P. aeruginosa crude lipase treated transesterification followed by GC-MS anal. of oil proved that oleic acid (37.3 %) and linoleic acid (33.3 %) were the principal fatty acids while palmitic acid and stearic acid being the major saturated fatty acids. Oil contents of Tanjorensis seed oil were comparable with the oil extracted from other species of Jatropha and were found to be close to oil from Jatropha curcas. Tanjorensis seed oil extracts could be useful in industrial applications and as a biodiesel feedstock. The aroma-active compounds present in tree ripened fruits of ciruela (Spondias purpurea L.) cultivars Chi abal, Campech abal, and Ek abal were isolated by means of simultaneous distillation solvent extraction and solid-phase microextraction and analyzed by gas chromatog.-mass spectrometry. Application of odor activity values (OAV) afforded 22 compounds in higher amounts than their threshold concentrations (OAVs >1). Results of the identification experiments in combination with the OAVs suggested that Me 3-methylbutanoate, Et butanoate, Et 2-methylbutanoate, Et 3-methylbutanoate, Et hexanoate, hexyl acetate, with fruity odor notes; (E)-2-hexenal, (Z)-3-hexen-1-ol, (E)-2-hexen-1-ol, 1-hexanol, and (Z)-3-hexenyl acetate, with grassy odor notes, and limonene (citrus-like) were the potentially important common odorants in all ciruela cultivars. Natural abundance 13C spin-lattice relaxation times and 13C-Hnuclear Overhauser enhancement (NOE) times of 2-ethylhexyl benzoate (EHB) and 2-ethylhexyl cyclohexanecarboxylate (EHC) were measured along isotherms of -20, 0, 20, 40, and 80° at pressures of 1-5000 bars using high-pressure, high-resolution NMR techniques. The ability to use pressure as an exptl. variable allowed a study of a wide range of mol. motions from extreme narrowing into the slow motional regime. In addition, the high-resolution capability even at high pressure permits the measurement of 13C and NOE for each individual C in the mols. studied. Relaxation in both mols. is successfully analyzed in terms of a model assuming a Cole-Davidson distribution of correlation times. The comparison of parameters used in the model demonstrates the increased flexibility of the EHC ring over the EHB ring and shows how the presence of the flexible ring contributes to the increased over-all mobility of the EHC mol. The anal. of mol. reorientations in terms of activation volumes indicates that EHB motion is highly restricted at low temperature This study involved multiple reactions and reactants, such as 2-Ethylhexyl benzoate (cas: 5444-75-7Application of 5444-75-7).
