The reactionmixture was stirred for about 9 h and then was filtered, extracted with ethyl acetate andwashed withwater. Combined organic layerswas dried over anhydrous magnesium sulfate, filtered and thesolvent was evaporated. The pure products 1a-2a were isolated by:crystallization from a mixture of ethyl acetate and petroleum ether(1a) and ethyl acetate (2a) or by column chromatography on silicagel (petroleum ether/ethyl acetate 20:1 (v/v) (5b)).
