The Article related to transition metal lanthanide salicylate amide complex preparation crystal structure, magnetic property transition metal lanthanide salicylate amide complex, Inorganic Chemicals and Reactions: Coordination Compounds and other aspects.Quality Control of Phenyl Salicylate

Costes, Jean-Pierre; Rodriguez Douton, Maria-Jesus; Shova, Sergiu; Vendier, Laure published an article in 2020, the title of the article was Role of the Main and Auxiliary Ligands in the Nuclearity of Cu-Ln Complexes.Quality Control of Phenyl Salicylate And the article contains the following content:

Trianionic ligands with an inner N2O2, an outer O2O2 or O2O coordination site and an oxygen atom coming from an amide function not involved in these sites yield dinuclear Cu-Ln complexes that self-assemble into tetranuclear species with an alternate arrangement of Cu and Ln ions. This alternate Cu-Gd arrangement impedes Cu-Cu and Gd-Gd interactions that could be antiferromagnetic and favors ferromagnetic Cu-Gd interactions whose strength depends on the nature of the bridge, the phenoxo bridge made of a single oxygen atom or the amidato bridge made of three NCO atoms. Depending on the ligands, the phenoxo bridges can be single (CuOGd) or double (CuO2Gd), while the amidato bridge is always a single (CuNCOGd) bridge. A particular complex involving a trinuclear Cu-Gd-Cu arrangement through two amidato bridges confirms that the Cu-Gd interaction through the amidato bridge is always weaker than the interaction through the phenoxo bridge. It was possible to obtain complexes with an alternate Cu-Gd arrangement involving more than two Cu-Gd entities when two amidato bridges are present. These two amidato bridges may come from a main ligand, as in the case of tetraanionic ligands possessing two amide functions, or from two different ligands involving one amide function that are assembled by a Gd ion through their phenoxo functions. Note that the presence of auxiliary ligands with a good chelating ability for the Gd ion, such as the diketonato ligands, gave tetranuclear species only, regardless of the number of amide functions. The Article related to crystal structure chiral tetranuclear transition schiff base complex preparation, ferromagnetic exchange magnetic relaxation rare earth schiff base complex, Inorganic Chemicals and Reactions: Coordination Compounds and other aspects.Formula: C13H10O3

Costes, Jean-Pierre; Duhayon, Carine; Vendier, Laure; Wernsdorfer, Wolfgang published an article in 2022, the title of the article was Structural determinations and magnetic properties of a “chiral at metal” complex and its resulting [Cu-Ln]2 compounds.Formula: C13H10O3 And the article contains the following content:

A chiral trianionic ligand possessing one amide, one imine, two phenol functions and one asym. carbon atom into its diamino chain reacts with CuII ions to yield anionic [LCu]- units that crystallize in a non-centrosym. space group as infinite 1D zig-zag chains in which a transmission of chirality to the CuII ion is effective. The distorted square planar environment of the CuII ion is large enough to induce the presence of a stereogenic CuII center. Further reaction with LnIII ions in presence of ancillary ligands does not preserve such an arrangement but yields a tetranuclear complex made of two [LCu-Ln] units in a head-to-tail position. The tetranuclear [LCu-Ln]2 complexes made with the racemic and chiral LCu units crystallize in different space groups, so that racemization does not occur. The structural determinations confirm that a symmetry center is present in the two structures, except for the Me groups linked to the chiral carbon atoms, which appear as disordered in the (S-S) tetranuclear entity. Such an arrangement implies a conformation change of the diamino chain linked to the CuII ion in one [LCu-Ln] unit of the (S-S) entity, and cancels any chirality contribution of the CuII ions, as in the meso compound Ferromagnetic Cu-Ln interactions, resulting from an alternate distribution of the CuII and LnIII ions, are the only ones to be active. Eventually the micro-Squid studies confirm that the hysteresis loops of the corresponding racemate and chiral tetranuclear [LCu-Dy]2 entities are slightly different. The experimental process involved the reaction of Phenyl Salicylate(cas: 118-55-8).Formula: C13H10O3

Shoikhedbrod, M. published an article in 2021, the title of the article was The advanced foam materials production in microgravity using the process of vibroturbulization.Category: esters-buliding-blocks And the article contains the following content:

Recently, the task of the intensification of the existing technol. processes using the intensive mixing of different environment, which are characterized by different densities (water + gas, water + solid particles + gas, water + oil so forth) is actual. The conducted studies determined that at a certain frequency and vibration acceleration of vibration, a resonant phenomenon occurs-vibroturbulization, in which the above of the fluid surface air in a vibrating vessel with fluid takes an active part in the intense mixing of several immiscible fluids and in the formation of a homogeneous mixture Shoikhedbrod presented the theor. model and calculation of the phys. parameters of vibroturbulization process, which were used in the intensification of existing technol. processes (floatation) and in the development of completely new technol. processes: advanced foam materials production, uniform fully dense ceramics production, and biodiesel destruction prevention during storage and transportation. The paper presents the results of theor. modeling of features of the process of vibroturbulization, taking place in conditions of microgravity, which permitted to develop a new method of an advanced foam materials production in microgravity using the above of the matrix melt surface air from microdispersed air bubbles in a vibrating vessel as a filler and purposeful injection of the “working pillow” from microdispersed air bubbles, formed in the process of vibroturbulization, into the matrix melt by increasing of the vibration frequency as foaming of the matrix melt by a filler. The practical realization of the developed method in microgravity conditions was confirmed during of tests aboard of flying laboratory aircraft IL-76K. The Article related to thermodn efficient adsorptive elimination organic pollutant, Waste Treatment and Disposal: Physical Treatment Of Aqueous Wastes and other aspects.Formula: C13H10O3

On July 25, 2022, Zhang, Xinling; Yuan, Ning; Xu, Shuo; Li, Yi; Wang, Qibao published an article.Formula: C13H10O3 The title of the article was Efficient adsorptive elimination of organic pollutants from aqueous solutions on ZIF-8/MWCNTs-COOH nanoadsorbents: Adsorption kinetics, isotherms, and thermodynamic study. And the article contained the following:

The removal of organic pollutants was examined by new zeolitic imidazolate framework-8/carboxyl-functionalized multi-walled carbon nanotubes (ZIF-8/MWCNTs-COOH) nanoadsorbents, which were prepared via controlling the reaction sequence of MWCNTs-COOH with the precursors of ZIF-8. Structural morphol. and chem. composition characterizations confirmed the successful preparation of ZIF-8/MWCNTs-COOH nanoadsorbents. The obtained samples manifested a preferable adsorption capacity for Congo red with the maximum adsorption capacity of 1185.58 mg g-1 with an adsorption removal rate of 97.93% at equilibrium adsorption. Further analyses indicated that the adsorption process conformed to the pseudo-second-order kinetic model and Langmuir adsorption isotherm. The thermodn. analyses were depicted as endothermic, entropy-increasing, and spontaneous. The effects of pH value, interfering ions, and dosage on the adsorption properties were systematically explored. The nanoadsorbent can be expediently reused for eight cycles without a prominent reduction in adsorption activity. The improved performance and high reusability can be ascribed to the increasing sp. surface, the presence of electrostatic interaction, hydrogen bonding, and π-π interaction between ZIF-8/MWCNTs-COOH and organic mols. In addition, the prepared composites also showed a better adsorption performance for tetracycline with the equilibrium adsorption capacity of 471.22 mg g-1 compared to pure ZIF-8 and MWCNTs-COOH. The Article related to phenyl salicylate piperidinolysis kinetics, Physical Organic Chemistry: Other Reactions, Processes, and Spectra and other aspects.Application In Synthesis of Phenyl Salicylate

Fagge, Ibrahim I.; Ahmad, W. Hamdah W.; Zain, Sharifuddin Md; Khan, M. Niyaz published an article in 2018, the title of the article was Kinetics and mechanism of counterionic salt-catalysed piperidinolysis of anionic phenyl salicylate in the presence of cationic-nonionic mixed micelles.Application In Synthesis of Phenyl Salicylate And the article contains the following content:

The quant. correlation of counterion-affinity to aqueous hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide (HDAB, cationic micelles/nanoparticles) and the counterion-induced HDAB micellar growth, in the presence of different amounts of poly(ethylene glycol hexadecyl ether) (C16E20, nonionic surfactant), was achieved by the use of a semi-empirical kinetic (SEK) method. The values of the ratio of cationic HDAB, as well as mixed HDAB-C16E20, micellar binding constants of X and Br, KX/KBr (= KBrX or RBrX) for X = 4-ClC6H4CO2-, were obtained by the SEK method. The concentration range (0.006-0.015 M) of pure HDAB was found to have no influence on the values of KBrX or RBrX. These observations were also recorded upon addition of a nonionic surfactant, C16E20, in an aqueous solution of HDAB. The mean value of KBrX or RBrX obtained in the presence of pure HDAB (KBrX or RBrX = 50.3) is 2.3 times larger than that in the presence of mixed HDAB-C16E20 (mKBrX or mRBrX = 21.7). From rheometric measurements of aqueous HAD+/4-ClC6H4CO2- with 0.015 M HDAB, single sym. maxima (at both 25 and 35 °C) were obtained at [4-ClC6H4CO2Na] = 0.03 M. This is evidence for the existence of wormlike micelles/nanoparticles. However, the absence of a maximum in rheometric data for aqueous HAD+/C16E20/4-ClC6H4CO2- with 0.015 M HDAB and 0.006 M C16E20 at various [4-ClC6H4CO2Na] revealed the existence of spherical micelles. On March 7, 2019, Talik, Agnieszka; Tarnacka, Magdalena; Geppert-Rybczynska, Monika; Minecka, Aldona; Kaminska, Ewa; Kaminski, Kamil; Paluch, Marian published an article.Quality Control of Phenyl Salicylate The title of the article was Impact of the Interfacial Energy and Density Fluctuations on the Shift of the Glass-Transition Temperature of Liquids Confined in Pores. And the article contained the following:

The behavior of the low- and high-mol. weight glass formers confined in nanoporous templates remains an unsolved puzzle despite the intensive long-term studies in this matter. Special effort is taken to understand the enhancement of segmental or structural dynamics and the depression of the glass-transition temperatures, Tgs in materials infiltrated in pores of the nanometric size. In this paper, we have analyzed dielec., calorimetric, and contact angle data collected for various systems to determine which factors are responsible for these effects. It turned out that with increasing interfacial energy, mols. attached to the pore walls (interfacial layer) vitrify at higher temperatures Moreover, the dynamics of core mols. starts to deviate from bulk-like behavior. Therefore, a greater depression of the glass-transition temperature, Tg, of this fraction of mols. is noted. Also, it was found that the sensitivity of structural dynamics to the d. fluctuations, quantified by the pressure coefficient of the glass-transition temperature, dTg/dp, is another useful parameter to predict the shift of the glass-transition temperature of the confined glass formers. The results presented herein emphasize the great importance of surface effects, which play a primary role in a unified description of the impact of the nanometric spatial restriction on the dynamics of confined materials. The Article related to hydrophobicity glutathione peroxidase like activity substituted salicyloylseleninic acid, Physical Organic Chemistry: Other Reactions, Processes, and Spectra and other aspects.Name: Phenyl Salicylate

On May 1, 2018, Yu, Sun-Chol; Ri, Dong-Myong; Kuhn, Hartmut published an article.Name: Phenyl Salicylate The title of the article was Hydrophobicity and glutathione peroxidase-like activity of substituted salicyloyl-5-seleninic acids: Re-investigations on aromatic selenium compounds based on their hydrophobicity. And the article contained the following:

Previously we have shown that some of 5-selenized salicylic acid derivatives exhibit glutathione peroxidase (GPx)-like activities higher than or equal to ebselen [Yu et al., Chem. Eur. J., 2008, 14, 7066; Organic Biomol. Chem., 2010, 8, 828]. For understanding the absence of GPx-like activity of the homolog of 5-seleninic anhydride of salicyloylglycine with a loger side chain, we have further synthesized 19 new derivatives (5-seleninic acids of Me or Ph salicylates, N-salicyloyl ω-carboxyalkylamines or N-salicyloyl alkyl/phenyl amines, and some of their diselenides). Some of the 5-seleninic acids which carry long side chains or cyclohexyl group have exerted no GPx-like activity, irresp. of whether they are derived from ω-carboxyalkylamines or simple alkylamines. Such lacks of GPx-like activity let us quant. relate the GPx-like activities of the congeners of the above 3 series with their hydrophobicity (ClogP), which showed satisfactory correlations in each series. The mol. hydrophobicity was then extensively applied to diverse known aromatic selenium GPx mimics including diaryl diselenides and ebselen derivatives to explain their GPx-like activities in comparably quant. mode, which could be helpful in designing new improved GPx mimic analogs in each series. The Article related to methyl salicylate low volatile monofunctional reactive diluent preparation, Coatings, Inks, and Related Products: Polyester and Alkyd Resin Coatings and other aspects.Safety of Phenyl Salicylate

On October 1, 2021, Kury, Markus; Ehrmann, Katharina; Harakaly, Gyorgy Attila; Gorsche, Christian; Liska, Robert published an article.Safety of Phenyl Salicylate The title of the article was Low volatile monofunctional reactive diluents for radiation curable formulations. And the article contained the following:

In the last decades the importance of UV curable formulations has increased continuously. Their fast curing speed, solvent-free polymerization conditions, and the formation of hard and highly crosslinked photopolymer networks represent major benefits. Com. UV resins generally consist of multi-functional vinyl oligomers, photoinitiators, additives, and reactive diluents. Mono- and multi-functional reactive diluents serve as thinners to lower the overall resin viscosity and to improve processability. However, many monofunctional reactive diluents like isobornyl (meth)acrylate or benzyl (meth)acrylate exhibit high volatility, often already at room temperature This causes adverse effects such as unpleasant odor, potential health risks, and changing resin composition during processing. A new group of monomers that show high potential for replacing traditional highly volatile reactive diluents are salicylate (meth)acrylates. In this work, salicylate-based thinners are synthesized, polymerized, and characterized with respect to their viscosity, volatility, thermal stability, photoreactivity, and thermomech. properties of their homopolymers. Addnl., a first example of their diluting effect in a highly viscous difunctional polyester urethane methacrylate is demonstrated with 30 wt% of a cycloaliphatically and an aromatically substituted salicylate methacrylate. The polymers of the diluted resin exhibit similarly high glass transition temperatures of 110 and 126°C, which are in the range of the polymers of the undiluted resin.
