Vandevoorde, Severine’s team published research in Journal of Medicinal Chemistry in 46 | CAS: 110-34-9

Journal of Medicinal Chemistry published new progress about 110-34-9. 110-34-9 belongs to esters-buliding-blocks, auxiliary class Aliphatic hydrocarbon chain,Ester, name is Isobutyl palmitate, and the molecular formula is C9H7NO2, Application In Synthesis of 110-34-9.

Vandevoorde, Severine published the artcileEsters, retroesters, and a retroamide of palmitic acid: pool for the first selective inhibitors of N-palmitoylethanolamine- selective acid amidase, Application In Synthesis of 110-34-9, the publication is Journal of Medicinal Chemistry (2003), 46(21), 4373-4376, database is CAplus and MEDLINE.

Cyclohexyl hexadecanoate, hexadecyl propionate, and N-(3-hydroxypropionyl)pentadecanamide, resp. ester, retroester, and retroamide derivatives of N-palmitoylethanolamine, represent the first selective inhibitors of “N-palmitoylethanolamine hydrolase” described so far. These compounds are devoid of affinity for CB1 and CB2 receptors and characterized by high percentages of inhibition of N-palmitoylethanolamine-selective acid amidase (84.0, 70.5, and 76.7% inhibition at 100 μM, resp.) with much lower inhibitory effect on either fatty acid amide hydrolase or the uptake of anandamide.
