Organocatalysts containing primary-secondary amine based on bispidine and amino acid have been designed to catalyze the asym. direct aldol reaction of functionalized ketones including α-keto phosphonates, α-keto esters, as well as α,α-dialkoxy ketones as aldol reaction acceptors.
