The resulting mixture was allowed to warmup to room temperature and stirred overnight. The residue was quenched with saturated aq. NH4CI and extracted with EtOAc. The organics were washed sequentially with water and brine, and dried over Na2SO4. Filtration and concentration in vacuum gave a crude product, which was purified by flash chromatography (silica gel, 0-30% EtOAc in PE) to afford the title compound (7.6 g, 69% yield).
