2-Phenylaminomethylene-malonic acid diethyl ester A mixture of aniline (25.6 g, 0.28 mol) and diethyl 2-(ethoxymethylene)malonate (62.4 g, 0.29 mol) was heated at 140-150 C. for 2 h.
