Compound I-CC (3.1 g, 17.1 mmol) and aniline (1.59 g, 17.1 mmol) were dissolved in 30 mL of acetonitrile in a glass pressure tube. The organic phase was dried over a2S04, filtered, evaporated down and purified by silica column (hexane:EtOAc) to give Compound II-CC (1.97 g, 59%); LCMS:194.12 m/z (M+H)+.
