Ethyl 2,2,2-triethoxyacetate (221.9 mg, 1.02 mmol) was added dropwise to a solution of (s)-tert-butyl (1 -((2?,3 ?-diamino-3 -(N,N-bis(4-methoxybenzyl)sulfamoyl)-2-(2-(4- methoxybenzyl)-2H-tetrazol-5 -yl)-[ 1,1 ?-biphenyl] -4-yl)sulfonyl)propan-2-yl)carbamate (300 mg, 0.328 mmol) in EtOH (5 ml) at 0C. The mixture was evacuated and backfilled with nitrogen 3 timesand stirred at 80C for l6hr. The reaction progress was monitored by LCMS. When the reaction was completed, it was concentrated under vacuum.
