Purification by column chromatography (SiO2, petroleum ether) provided the title compound as a white solid (5.9 g, 80%): 1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3) delta 8.00 (s, 1H), delta 7.83 (s, 1H), 2.51 (s, 3H); EIMS m/z 256 ([M]+).
